Look what I found. Here's the original photo portrait and the drawing I made from it. The photo was from the Houston Post - now defunct - May of 1982.

Update

  I started this blog just a few days ago and I'm throwing out whatever art work I have at hand. Some of it is my best work from a decade or two ago and some it is right out of my current sketchbooks. I suppose it is representative of my entire body of work. I guess I'll just keep 'em coming for a while.

House Portraits

For a period of time a couple of years ago I really got into doing house portraits. Here are two examples.

  This is a colored pencil drawing I did in 1992. It's my oldest son sleeping on our cheap couch. He's thirty now and the couch is long gone.
